About this tool

Estimate vibrating screen throughput capacity from screen dimensions, aperture size, and efficiency. Basic capacities are per VSMA guidelines for inclined screens with standard wire cloth. Nine aperture sizes from 5mm to 150mm.

Enter screen width, length, aperture size, and efficiency — typical efficiency 85-95%.

Technical information

Capacity = screen area × basic capacity × efficiency

Limitations

Basic capacities are for standard conditions. Actual throughput depends on feed grading, moisture, particle shape, screen inclination, and open area percentage.
